Emily & David’s Wedding
At the Ringling Museum of Art
An eclectic wedding at the Ringling venues for Emily and David.
The ceremony took place in front of the majestic, waterfront, Ca d’Zan Mansion, once the home of John and Mabel Ringling. In addition to the wedding being featured in The Knotmagazine, this colorful chuppah is on The Knot’s ’29 Prettiest Chuppahs’ list.
Guests enjoyed cocktails on the mansion’s terrace overlooking the bay. Authentic, mid-century modern, lounge seating added to the ambience. Guests were then transported to the Ringling Museum Courtyard where they found their table assignments etched on antique mirror tables.
With the mix of eclectic furniture, and colorful blooms, we brought an organic elegance to this Venetian-style venue. We were inspired by Emily, and David’s travels to make the day truly their own. Moroccan lanterns reflected their trip to North Africa, while bold magentas, indigos and purples represented their time on the Amalfi Coast. The overall effect was of an intimate affair at a stately home in a bygone era
